Summary:

The Talking Eggs is adapted from a creole folktale.  It resembles the story of Cinderella somewhat.  The story involves a mother and her two daughters.  Rose, the evil daughter, is the mother's favorite.  Blanche, the kind, intelligent daughter, is always made to do all the work and is looked down on.  The girls both encounter an old woman in the deep woods, only at different times.  Each must pass the old woman's test to receive their fate.  Which one do you think will receive the brightest future?
